Where it comes from
Barney's Farm assembled their Trainwreck from three landraces, Mexican and Thai sativas stabilised by Afghani indica, into a classic 80/20 sativa cross. The Afghani supplies the old-school ballast beneath the tropical lift of the other two, which is the whole design: adventurous heritage held steady by something older and heavier. The record traces her plainly to those three lines, and the result carries the character of each without letting any one run away with the plant.
Nose & flavour
Piney and earthy at the base, layered with a lemon zest that brightens every inhale, the record's own account. Sweet notes round it further, but it is the lemon over the pine that gives her the lift. The flowers themselves shimmer gold and green under light, a plant that looks as bright as it smells: a fresh, resinous, citrus-lifted nose in the sativa tradition.
