Chemdog and Girl Scout Cookies, 90% indica by genetics but, curiously, none the worse for couch-lock. Coffee and earth meet a fruity sweetness on the nose; the high is creative, euphoric and uplifting rather than flat, on buds resinous enough to interest any extractor.
Where it comes from
Chemdog and Girl Scout Cookies, brought together by World Wide Cultivars into a plant the record puts at 90 per cent indica. Also known, the record notes, as Garlic Cookies or GMO Cookies, and famous for a pungent character to match that heavy indica structure. Chemdog supplies the funk and the fuel, Girl Scout Cookies the sweetness and the polish. An unruly parentage, tidily reconciled.
Nose & flavour
Coffee and earth lead the nose, dark and savoury, with a fruity sweetness softening the finish. It is the pungent, funky profile the record makes much of, the Chemdog influence writ large, with just enough fruit from the Cookies side to keep it from turning entirely into a delicatessen. A loud, moreish aroma, and one that does not travel discreetly.
The high
Here is the curiosity: 90 per cent indica by genetics, yet none the worse for flat couch-lock. The record has the effect running creative, euphoric and uplifting rather than sedentary, a lively head on a heavy frame. An interesting beast, then, deeply indica in build but sprightly in temperament. Not the evening's full stop you might expect from the ratio.

Flowering runs 56 to 70 days on a medium plant of around 150cm, returning 397 to 488 g/m². THC is recorded at 26 to 28 per cent. The record makes much of the resin-rich buds and heavy trichome coverage, which flags her appeal to the extractor as clearly as to the smoker. Standard in her demands, but the trichome load means clean scissors, kept clean, will save you a good deal of muttering at harvest.
