Why this shelf exists

This is the workshop after the harvest — what growers have historically done to turn flower into hash, oil, edibles and the rest. Some of it I'll walk you through start to finish. Some of it I'll only describe, because the method needs you to use acids and solvents that have hurt careful people, and I'm not going to write the recipe that makes improvising feel safe. The line is deliberate, and it's marked on every page.

The safety bit, plainly

In the chemistry stages the hazard isn't the oil — it's the vapour and the acid. Solvent fumes are heavier than air; they pool low and find a spark clear across the room. Strong acid takes skin off before you feel it. That's lab work — real ventilation, proper kit, someone watching your back — not a kitchen job.

The legal bit, plainly

Growing a plant and curing it is one thing. Chemically converting or concentrating a controlled compound is another — in plain fact and in the eyes of the law. These pages teach what each stage is and why it sits where it does. They're history and theory, not instructions.
