Seb's take

Seb Silverback

A re-feminized OG Kush S1 phenotype that yields roughly a third more than the original, with a sourer edge to the aroma to match. Kush on the nose throughout; tall and vigorous given the room, resistant to pests and disease, and reliable across both indoor and outdoor setups.

Where it comes from

A re-feminized phenotype of OG Kush S1, selected and stabilised by Reserva Privada. She retains every trait of her parent while carrying a sourer edge to the smell and, more usefully, up to a third more yield than the original OG Kush. That is the pitch in full: the same familiar Kush character, adjusted for the grower who wanted the same plant to give back rather more for the same trouble. Indica-dominant at 75 percent, she is the sensible refinement of a well-known name.

Nose & flavour

Kush throughout, as the lineage promises, but pulled a shade sourer than the strain she came from. That souring is the signature here, the single adjustment that tells you which plant you are handling before anyone names it. Everything else stays true to the OG Kush character her parent set down, so if you know that nose, you know this one, with the acidity turned up a notch.

The high

The record keeps its own counsel on the finer points of the experience, and I will not invent them for you. What is stated is a 75 percent indica lean and a 25 percent THC ceiling, which points the general direction plainly enough without me embroidering it. Take her as a Kush of real potency and let the plant make its own introductions.

Growing it

Tall and vigorous for an indica-dominant plant, and given proper vegetation room and space for the roots to establish, she can reach up to 180cm and yield more than 500g per plant. The stated indoor return runs 500 to 600 g/m² across a 63 to 70 day flower, finishing in nine to ten weeks indoors and mid to end October outdoors. Better resistance to pests, disease and the elements than most, and content in a slightly warmer, semi-humid setting. She suits indoors and out equally, provided she is given the room she asks for.
