LA Confidential meets Cheese for a strain that lives up to both names — pungent blue cheese and earth up front, with a pine and flowery undertone underneath. The high is relaxed, happy, uplifted, hungry and eventually sleepy, medicinal in the old-fashioned sense. Does not travel discreetly, and was never meant to.
Where it comes from
Reserva Privada crossed LA Confidential with Cheese, and the offspring lives up to both names in full. The LA Confidential side brings the indica weight, 70% of it, while the Cheese lends the aroma that no filter is quite ready for. A straightforward, honest pairing of two well-known lines, and the result hides nothing about its parentage on the nose or anywhere else.
Nose & flavour
Cheese, and specifically blue cheese, up front, pungent and unmistakable, with earth beneath it and a pine and flowery undertone rounding it out. It is a bold, funky nose in the best Cheese tradition, and the buds carry it heavily. Does not travel discreetly, and was never built to.
The high
Relaxed and happy, uplifted early before hunger arrives and sleep follows, the full sweep of a 70% indica. It settles the body first and the eyes last, an unhurried, comfortable effect suited to the end of the day rather than the middle of it. Keep something to eat within reach, and clear the evening's diary while you are at it.
