How to grow Silver Bubble
Taste
Seb's take
Northern Lights, Skunk and Haze combine in Silver Bubble, sweet and citrusy with a vanilla note under the pungent skunk. She wants warmth, sun and a heavier hand with nutrients than most, stretching to double her size in flower — give her the headroom. The high runs happy, giggly and euphoric, energetic enough for daytime use.
Where it comes from
Reserva Privada's Silver Bubble draws on three of the most consequential lines in the catalogue — Northern Lights, Skunk and Haze — for a sativa-dominant hybrid with rather a lot of history behind it. Northern Lights supplies the resin and the sturdiness, Skunk the pungency, Haze the length and the cerebral tilt. The record marks her a shade demanding: she wants warmth, sun and a heavier hand with nutrients than most, which suggests a plant carrying more Haze in her temperament than her stature lets on. Not the easiest first acquaintance, but the care is repaid.
Nose & flavour
Sweet and citrus lead, with an unexpected vanilla note threading beneath the pungent skunk — a softer finish than the parentage might warn you to expect. It is not a discreet aroma; the skunk sees to that. But the vanilla keeps it from being merely sharp, lending the whole thing a rounder, sweeter character as the buds fill out.
The high
Happy, giggly and euphoric, with enough energy to keep it firmly a daytime affair. The Haze and sativa lean show in the lift; this is company for conversation and daylight rather than the settling sort. Uplifted throughout, cheerful without tipping into anything overwhelming.
Growing it
THC sits at 17% with 1.0% CBD alongside. She flowers over ten to twelve weeks indoors, or comes in by mid-October outdoors, and yields 500–600 g/m² for the patience. Left untrained she runs tall and bushy — easily to 200cm — and will roughly double in size once flowering begins, so give her the headroom before she takes it herself. She wants warmth, plenty of sun and more feed than the label usually recommends. Not one for the beginner, but a rewarding grow for the grower who reads her properly.
