Seb's take

Seb Silverback

Super Lemon Haze crossed onto ruderalis for an easier life, and little else changes — the same overwhelming citric lemon nose survives the shortcut. The high stays happy, euphoric, and energetic, in a medium-sized, forgiving plant that suits growers who would rather not fuss over light schedules.

Where it comes from

Green House Seeds crossed Super Lemon Haze onto ruderalis for an easier life, and remarkably little else changed in the process. The autoflowering version keeps a potency that rivals the original, along with the sweet, lemony flavour and overwhelming citric aroma its predecessor is known for. The ruderalis buys resilience to shifting climate and environment, and frees the plant from the light schedule, making it an excellent choice for a grower still finding their feet.

Nose & flavour

The same overwhelming citric lemon nose survives the shortcut intact, sweet and bright and unmistakable. The record makes a point of it: the autoflowering turn retained the aroma its predecessor made famous, so what you smell here is the family trademark rather than a diluted echo of it. A forward, zesty scent that leaves no doubt about its heritage.

The high

The high stays happy, euphoric and energetic, the sativa character surviving the ruderalis cross in good order. It lifts the mood and keeps the attention lively, an up and engaged effect rather than a settling one, well suited to daytime company. Bright and good-humoured throughout, and disinclined to sit you down before you are ready.

Growing it

A medium-sized autoflower reaching 80 to 100cm, easy to grow and manage and more resilient to changes in climate than a photoperiod would be. She carries distinctly large colas that tend to stretch out when grown outdoors, so a little extra room outside is wise. Flowering runs 63 days, the yield is a solid 500 g/m², and THC sits at 19 per cent with a touch of CBD at 1 per cent. Forgiving of enthusiasm, and a sound choice for a grower who would rather not fuss over light schedules.
