Seb's take

Seb Silverback

Haze crossed with select purple Indicas gives this one its cherry-lemon brightness and a sour-sweet edge on the exhale. The high opens uplifting before settling into something relaxed, tingly, and eventually sleepy - a fair trade across that lineage. A classic name, honestly carried.

Where it comes from

Haze on one side, a selection of purple Indicas on the other, White Label building a familiar name on a two-part foundation. The Haze parent supplies the soaring, sativa-forward head; the purple Indicas the colour and the steadying weight beneath. Seventy percent Sativa in the final reckoning, though with enough Indica ballast to keep it from floating off entirely.

Nose & flavour

Cherry and lemon give it a bright, orchard-fresh opening, with a sour snap and a sweetness trailing behind on the exhale. A lively, fruit-forward nose, more fruit bowl than incense, whatever the Haze name might lead you to expect.

The high

The effect opens uplifting, as a Haze cross should, before easing into something relaxed and tingly and, given time, frankly sleepy. A fair trade across a lineage pulling in two directions: the Sativa starts the evening, the purple Indica ends it.

Growing it

Forty-nine to sixty-three days in flower, quick for anything carrying Haze, and medium in height at 100 to 120cm. Yields sit at 350 to 400 g/m². THC spans 13 to 20% with around 1% CBD. Feminized, and manageable indoors despite the sativa heritage; the purple Indica keeps her stature honest. A classic name, carried without fuss.
