Where it comes from
Blue Kush is Dinafem's cross of Blueberry and OG Kush, a near-even hybrid the breeder describes as the harmony point between two classics. The Blueberry supplies fruit and sweetness; the OG Kush the pine, the citrus and the backbone. The record is fond of the balance, a rich, musky character that draws evenly on both sides.
Nose & flavour
Blueberry and berry sweetness meet OG's pine and citrus in a rich, musky smoke, a snowstorm of trichomes carrying it all. The aroma fills a tent toward the end of flower, so a filter earns its keep well before the scissors come out.
The high
The effect follows the buds, relaxed, happy and uplifted, drifting euphoric and then sleepy by the close. An even, agreeable arc at 20 per cent THC, walked at an unhurried pace from first to last.
Growing it
Flowering takes a tidy 60 days, standing to about 150cm, so give her the headroom, and returning around 500 g/m² at 20 per cent THC, beneath that heavy frost of resin. A well-balanced plant that finishes on time and dresses heavily for the occasion.
