Seb Silverback

Berry and blueberry over a pungent, sweet earth, from a Blueberry and White Widow cross bred for quick work at trim time — a high calyx-to-leaf ratio does the labour-saving here. The high is relaxed, happy, focused and euphoric, and the reward for an easy 55-day flower is yields heavy enough to test your drying space.

Growing Blue Widow: what to expect

Feminized photoperiod seed: every plant a female, and flowering starts when you change the lights — which puts the calendar in your hands. The photoperiod lesson covers using that control well.

She finishes flowering in around 8 weeks — brisk work by any standard. Read up on the flowering stage before she starts, because she won't wait while you do.

She wants to be a tree — 300 cm and climbing if you let her. Give her the headroom or teach her manners early: training techniques are not optional here.

A solid, dependable yield — 525 g/m² under decent conditions. Nothing that requires bragging; everything that justifies the effort. The yield lesson covers getting to "decent conditions".

THC tests under 18% by the breeder's numbers — measured rather than fierce. Some growers are after exactly that; the rest may keep scrolling with our blessing.

The nose is fruit-led, and generous about it.

The dominant note in the reviews is uplifting; daytime company, by most accounts.
