How to grow Blue Hash
Taste
Seb's take
Sweet, earthy blueberry with a skunky berry undertow, bred from California Hash Plant and Blueberry stock chosen for one purpose: resin. The high settles in gently — happy, euphoric, uplifted, sleepy by the end — while the buds themselves are dense enough to press rather than simply smoke.
Where it comes from
Blue Hash is Dinafem's cross of California Hash Plant and Blueberry, and the name gives away the intent, she was bred to be highly resinous, aimed squarely at concentrates. The Hash Plant supplies the resin and the heritage; the Blueberry the fruit and the flavour. A plant built for the press as much as the pipe.
Nose & flavour
Sweet and earthy with clear blueberry, over a skunky berry undertow, a taste sensation in the record's words, and a layered one. Fruit and funk in easy company, from buds dense enough to press rather than simply smoke.
The high
The effect settles in gently, happy, euphoric and uplifted before easing toward sleepy by the close. An even arc across the evening at a moderate 16 per cent THC, with nothing abrupt about the descent.
Growing it
She grows tall, to around 300cm, so she wants room and a plan to manage her height. Flowering is quick for the size, 50 to 55 days, returning around 475 g/m² of dense, resinous flower well suited to hash, BHO or shatter. Clean your scissors afterwards; there will be reason to.
