How to grow Blue Power
Taste
Seb's take
Sweet blueberry and berry over an earthy, pungent base, from a Blueberry, White Widow and Skunk #1 cross with a notable 21:1 THC:CBD ratio. The high is relaxed, euphoric and uplifted, sleepy at the tail, framed by large compact buds that fade from blue toward lavender as they finish.
Where it comes from
Vision Seeds give Blue Power a grand billing, the 'miss world' of the garden, and back it with a three-way cross of Blueberry, White Widow and Skunk #1. The record credits DJ Short's Blueberry by name as one of her benefactors, which places the fruit in this plant at the source rather than second-hand. An 80 percent Indica, she wears bluish flowers that fade toward lavender as she finishes, and the record notes a THC to CBD ratio of 21 to 1, a figure worth citing simply because it is there in black and white.
Nose & flavour
Sweet blueberry and a broader berry note sit over an earthy, pungent base, the Blueberry parent supplying the top and the Skunk #1 the weight beneath. It carries well, more pungent than shy, but the fruit stays firmly in charge. A generous, well-balanced nose.
The high
The effect opens bright, euphoric, uplifted and happy, before the 80 percent Indica majority reasserts itself and draws the whole thing down toward relaxed and, in time, sleepy. A high with a clear arc, then: a lively start and a soft landing, at a civil 16 percent THC that keeps the descent gentle rather than abrupt.
Growing it
She finishes in a tidy nine weeks and stays remarkably short at around 50cm, which makes her a natural fit for a sea of green where several small plants earn their keep together. Indoor yields sit at a healthy 500 g/m² for a plant of that stature, carried on large, compact buds set on a robust frame. She performs well in Mediterranean and temperate conditions outdoors, and the cold at the finish is what coaxes the blue-to-lavender colouring. Short, sturdy and productive, an easy plant to keep tidy.
