How to grow Auto Purple
Taste
Seb's take
A Pyramid Seeds project aimed squarely at colour — a brightly hued autoflower bred to finish in minimal time. Sweet earth and berry on the nose; the high is relaxed, euphoric and energetic, at 13% THC forgiving enough for growers of any experience.
Where it comes from
A Pyramid Seeds project aimed, more or less openly, at colour, bred from a Purple line crossed with Ruderalis to yield a brightly-hued autoflower that finishes its cycle in minimal time from seed. The record credits a lineage of sativa, indica and Ruderalis, which is what keeps her suitable for growers of every level. Function follows form here: the point was a fast, colourful plant, and that is precisely what arrived, with little fuss on the way.
Nose & flavour
Sweet up front, with an earthy base and a berry note that suits the purple colouring, the sort of aroma that matches its appearance. Nothing overpowering; this is a rounded, approachable nose rather than a loud one. Pleasant company, honest about what it is, and easy on a newer palate. A tidy bouquet with no rough corners.
The high
Relaxed and euphoric, but with an energetic streak that keeps her from being purely a sit-down affair, a lighter, more sociable balance than the colour might lead you to expect. At 13% THC the effect stays gentle and manageable, well suited to daytime and to anyone who prefers their cannabis to keep pace rather than pin them down. Cheerful, and undemanding with it.
Growing it
She flowers in around 65 days and stays a manageable 50 to 90cm, so headroom is rarely a concern. Yields sit at a solid 400 g/m², with 1% CBD alongside the 13% THC. The record is plain that her mixed lineage makes her suitable for growers of all skill levels, a forgiving, quick, colourful plant that asks little and returns a decent amount. A fine choice for a first autoflower, or a dependable one for a quick turnaround.
