Ninety percent Sativa, the high runs uplifting, energetic and aroused, and she still finishes in a relatively fast 10 to 11 weeks. Give her the headroom.
Where it comes from
A Brazilian landrace at the root, backcrossed and stabilised by Barney's Farm until the wildness of a world-renowned Brazilian sativa became something a grower could actually keep. Ninety percent sativa on paper, and every bit of that heritage is earned rather than borrowed, the breeders having worked the original line back on itself until it held its shape. The result is one of their award-winning efforts, a concentrated sativa that has kept its tropical parentage while learning some manners. For a plant descended from the Brazilian coast, she is remarkably willing to behave under a roof.
Nose & flavour
The nose leads with mint, cool and clean, before floral and citrus notes fill in behind it. There is none of the diesel heaviness of a modern hybrid here; this is an older, brighter kind of aroma, the sort a long-line sativa tends to carry. Sharp, lifted and faintly sweet, she is pleasant company rather than a loud one, though she does not entirely hide what she is.
The high
The high is a proper sativa affair, uplifting and energetic, with a lively, aroused edge that keeps the whole thing pointed forward rather than down. At 22% THC there is genuine weight behind the brightness, so it carries rather than merely flatters. A daytime companion, then, and best met with something to do; sat still, that energy has nowhere useful to go.
Growing it
Feminised and, for such a concentrated sativa, relatively quick, she finishes in ten to eleven weeks indoors, or by the end of September outdoors. Expect heights of 110 to 130cm and a heavy 650 g/m² when given room for the roots and time in vegetation. Good resistance means she takes both indoor and outdoor life in her stride. The one demand she makes is headroom; a sativa of this lineage will stretch, and crowding her only wastes the yield she is otherwise happy to hand over. Give her the space and she is forgiving of the rest.
