Where it comes from
Sensi Seeds folded Durban and Hindu Kush into OG Kush to make Sweet Cherry Kush, a 70 per cent indica photoperiod hybrid. The Durban lends a touch of its African sativa brightness, the Hindu Kush the mountain heaviness and the OG Kush the fuel and structure, and between them they produce a plant that grows stocky and confident. Heavy flowers form along sturdy branches, and the buds run dense and resin-rich, often accented with subtle purple tones late in bloom. A well-composed cross with a considered pedigree behind it.
Nose & flavour
Wood and pine lead the nose, grounding it in the Kush heritage, with a berry sweetness up top that lifts and brightens the aroma. The berry is the pleasant surprise over the earthy, piney base, giving the whole a fruited edge the parentage might not lead you to expect. A layered, agreeable scent rather than a simple one, carried on dense, resin-rich buds tinged with purple late on.
The high
The smoke opens with a cerebral spark that boosts the mood and the creativity, then settles into a soothing body presence that feels weightless rather than heavy. It is a well-balanced high, the head engaged early and the body eased later, neither half overruling the other.
