Seb's take

Seb Silverback

Afghan stock crossed with Skunk #1 and the Hindu Kush for an indica-dominant plant that rewards good feed with calyces packed full of resin. Earthy, hashy and spicy on the nose, skunk running underneath; the high settles into relaxed euphoria rather than announcing itself. Straightforward indoors or under glass.

Where it comes from

Sensi Seeds trace this one to Afghan genetics crossed with both the Hindu Kush and the world-famous Skunk #1 — a lineage that reads like a short history of the indica. The Afghan and Hindu Kush sides supply the weight, the resin and the earthy depth; Skunk #1 lends the vigour and the recognisable funk. The result is an indica-dominant plant of impressive yield and reliable temperament, easy to grow and generous to feed. A pedigree drawn straight from the mountains that gave modern indicas their backbone.

Nose & flavour

Earthy and hashy at the base, with a spicy edge and the skunk running clean underneath — the classic aroma of a Kush-heavy indica, deep rather than bright. Feed her properly and the calyces fill with resin, which concentrates the whole thing further. A rich, traditional nose that rewards a grower for not skimping on soil or nutrients.

The high

Relaxed and euphoric, settling in quietly rather than announcing itself — a happy, comfortable effect that leans into the indica majority. This is the sitting-down sort by the finish, agreeable company for an evening with nothing pressing on the other side of it. Strong without being showy about it.

Growing it

THC runs a strong 20–21%, with 1% CBD. She flowers in fifty to sixty days and takes well to whatever indoor method you favour, filling out thick, resinous buds when the feed and soil are up to standard — the record is firm that skimping there is a false economy. She does especially well indoors and under glass where summer temperatures run a little above average. Height and yield are not set down in the record, so I will not invent them; what is recorded is an easy, forgiving grow that repays proper care with real resin.
