How to grow Sensi Purple Kush
Taste
Seb's take
Hindu Kush, Skunk Kush and Maple Leaf combine in Sensi Purple Kush for a compact, sturdy plant that colours purple as harvest nears. Musk, earth and berry on the nose; the high is relaxed with a subtle mental lift — calm, but never dull. Well suited to winding down rather than winding up.
Where it comes from
Sensi Seeds built this one from three sturdy pillars — Hindu Kush, Skunk Kush and Maple Leaf — for a 70 percent indica hybrid with a compact, dependable frame. It is a lineage assembled for reliability rather than novelty, each parent contributing to a plant that colours purple as harvest nears and holds itself together while it does. Sensi have been at this a long time, and the steadiness of the result rather shows their working.
Nose & flavour
Musk leads, deep and a little animal, grounded by an earthy base and lifted at the edges by a berry sweetness that catches you off guard. It is the Kush side speaking most loudly, dense and hashy, with the fruit note serving as a welcome counterweight. A nose that reads as classic rather than showy — the sort you recognise before you can name it, and are glad to.
The high
A relaxing body effect paired with a subtle mental lift — calm, in other words, but never dull. The record is careful on that distinction, and it is a fair one: this settles you without switching off the lights entirely, leaving room for a reflective, unhurried sort of evening. Uplifting and euphoric threads run through the relaxation, so it is the sitting-down sort with the mind still pleasantly awake. Winding down, not out.
Growing it
Compact and sturdy, with a dense canopy of dark green leaves and buds forming tightly along the branches, this is a plant that does not sprawl. Height runs from roughly 120 to 140cm, well within reach of most tents, and flowering finishes in 55 to 60 days. Yields sit at 458 to 488 g/m², with THC at 19 to 22 percent and a steadying 1 percent of CBD. Purple accents show as harvest approaches, a fair sign the finish line is near. An orderly, unfussy grower with a tidy frame and a dependable turn of pace.
