How to grow Serious Happiness
Taste
Seb's take
Warlock and AK-47 combine in Serious Happiness, and the name is, by the breeder's own account, simply reportage — sweet, fruity, faintly spicy, with a sugary aftertaste. The high is a long, happy buzz pairing body-stoned comfort with a genuine head-high. Easy to manicure, easier still to enjoy.
Where it comes from
Serious Seeds crossed Warlock with AK-47 for this one, and by the breeder's own account the name is simply reportage — it was christened after smoking the finished result, because that is how the grower felt at both ends of the process. The hybrid structure sits ideally for indoor work, with several side branches spaced sensibly apart, each carrying a big, dense bud with few leaves. A plant, in short, that is happy while it grows and, apparently, seriously so once it is done.
Nose & flavour
Sweet and fruity, with a faint spice that keeps it from cloying, and a sugary aftertaste on the exhale that the breeder rates as the second helping of the strain's namesake feeling. A floral, earthy depth sits beneath the sweetness to round it off. An inviting, dessert-adjacent nose, but not a one-note one — the spice and the earth give it somewhere to go.
The high
A long-lasting buzz that pairs a comfortable body-stone with an incredible head-high — pure bliss, in the breeder's words, and the name was not chosen idly. It runs happy, euphoric and uplifting with a creative streak, so the mind stays engaged while the body eases off. A balanced, generous sort of high that keeps both ends of the register in play and outstays its welcome not at all.
Growing it
Built for indoors, with side branches spaced far enough apart to keep the canopy sensible and each one growing a large, dense bud that is easy to manicure — a small mercy come trim day. Flowering runs 60 to 70 days for a broad 400 to 600 g/m², depending on how well she is fed. THC is listed only as high, with a steadying 1 percent of CBD alongside, so take the potency as unquantified but not shy. A tidy, cooperative grower that keeps trim work brief and spirits, per the label, high.
