Six African and Canadian sativas combine in Serious 6 — best grown outdoors, since indoors she can turn temperamental under stress, expert growers only. Citrus, lemon, mango and tar on the nose, with pink pistils on half the crop turning purple by harvest. The high runs creative, focused and energetic throughout.
Where it comes from
Serious Seeds drew this one from African and Canadian genetics, a combination that grows tall and slender outdoors with full buds, few leaves and a particularly thick layer of crystals. Half the plants show pink pistils, and purple tends to creep into the flowers by the end of flowering. It is a plant with a distinctly wild streak in its heritage, and the breeder is candid that it grows best under natural light where that streak has room to behave.
Nose & flavour
Citrus and lemon lead, bright and sharp, with a tropical mango sweetness beneath and — the surprise of the set — a note of tar underneath the lot. The record calls the aroma unique and beyond comparison with other varieties, and that tar edge is a fair part of why. A profile that runs from the zesty to the almost savoury, and one that does not resemble much else on the shelf.
The high
