How to grow Prozack
Taste
Seb's take
Lavender and Kush combine in a fast-flowering Indica built for the medicinal shelf - depression, anxiety and pain management named plainly among its uses. The taste runs to quality hashish, the effect to deep relaxation, the sitting-down sort. Compact and vigorous outdoors, she asks little and gives steadily.
Where it comes from
Medical Seeds cross Lavender with Kush here, into an 80 percent indica bred for a deep, settling character. Lavender lends the floral, hashy notes and part of the height; Kush supplies the heavy, grounded backbone. It is a fast-flowering plant with a hashish-forward palate and a firmly relaxing temperament. A straightforward indica cross, well suited to those who want weight and ease over cerebral sparkle. The parentage tells you most of what you need to know.
Nose & flavour
The flavours field is empty, but the record credits it with a quality hashish taste, a rich, resinous, faintly spicy character in keeping with the Lavender and Kush parentage. Expect something warm and grounded rather than sweet or fruity. I'll not invent further notes beyond what the lineage and that hashish reference support. A classic, old-school indica profile, judged best at the jar.
The high
Effects are unlisted in the fields, but the record describes a deep, settling relaxation, the sitting-down sort, in keeping with an 80 percent indica. Across its stated 15 to 18 percent THC the body leads and the mind eases after. This is unhurried evening company; you won't be needed elsewhere, and won't be inclined to be. Take the first session gently and let the plant set the pace.
Growing it
The record is generous here. After three to four weeks of veg the plant flowers across eight to nine weeks, 56 to 63 days, reaching a tall 150 to 200cm, so give her the headroom. Yields sit at 500 g/m². She grows with a vigorous, compact nature outdoors and suits indoor and outdoor setups alike. Fast-flowering for her size and undemanding in habit, she asks little and gives steadily. Mind the height early and she causes no trouble.
