Purple Kush and Special Kush combine for dense, crystallised buds carrying pine, earth and a touch of grape. The high starts euphoric, then turns narcotic in short order — the sitting-down sort, useful against pain, insomnia and low mood. High THC, and she means it.
Where it comes from
Medical Seeds crossed Purple Kush with Special Kush, two heavy indicas, and made no concession to the sativa side at all: this is a hundred percent indica by the record. The Purple lends the colour and the grape note, the Special Kush the density and the backbone. A single-minded piece of breeding, with no interest in balance and no pretence otherwise.
Nose & flavour
Fresh pine leads, with earth underneath and a distinct touch of grape from the Purple Kush parent. The buds themselves are dense and thickly crystallised, the sort that catch the light and hold onto resin. A cool, classic Kush nose rather than a fruity one.
The high
It begins euphoric and does not linger there, the effect turns heavy in short order, the sitting-down sort that has you settled for the duration. You won't be needed elsewhere this evening. The THC is described only as high, and on the evidence the description is fair. An after-dark proposition, plainly.
Growing it
Flowering in 56 days, roughly eight weeks after a three-to-four-week vegetative run, for a yield around 400 g/m². Mind the height above all: 200 to 250cm on the record, so she stretches considerably and will want the headroom planned well in advance. THC is listed only as high, so I leave the number unstated. She grows vigorously indoors or out; give her the vertical space and she is straightforward enough for the reach she demands.
