Seb's take

Seb Silverback

Descended from Chemdawg 91 by way of GuavaChem, growing tall and slim with little lateral branching — more Ruderalis silhouette than Indica bulk, though the flowers are as dense and resinous as any. Effects at 18 to 23% THC lean Sativa despite the Indica-leaning leaves, and she shrugs off humidity and pests alike.

Where it comes from

Dinafem Seeds trace this one straight back to Chemdawg 91, by way of GuavaChem, the Chem line being about as storied as pungent American genetics get. At sixty-five per cent sativa, she grows tall and slim with little lateral branching, closer to a ruderalis silhouette than the indica bulk her leaves would suggest. The Chemdawg heritage shows in the flowers rather than the frame: rock-hard, fat, and dense on every shoot.

Nose & flavour

No formal notes are given, but the Chemdawg 91 lineage carries its own reputation, the sharp, unmistakable Chem character that made the parent a cornerstone. Take the pedigree at its word; this is not a family known for keeping quiet about itself.

The high

Rated at eighteen to twenty-three per cent THC, and despite the indica-leaning leaves the effect clearly follows the sativa side of the cannabinoid profile. A lively, cerebral lean rather than a sinking one, the leaves saying one thing and the smoke another.

Growing it

A tall grower at up to 300cm, slim and short on lateral branches, so she suits height over spread. Flowering runs 60 to 70 days for 450 to 500 g/m² of dense, resinous flower. Her real gift is resilience: resistant to pests and to the troubles that come with high humidity, which makes her a sound choice for a damp room where fussier plants would sulk. An excellent option for commercial and amateur growers alike, indoors or out.
