Seb's take

Seb Silverback

Mamba Negra's award-winning background carries over, reworked here around a CBG focus rather than another high-THC chase. Earthy on the nose; the effect is mellow but not flat — creative and euphoric, with gentle brightness standing in for heavy couch gravity. Something less ordinary, by design.

Where it comes from

Blimburn Seeds took the award-winning Mamba Negra and reworked her around a CBG focus, crossing her with a CBG line to deliver a non-intoxicating profile while keeping the character of a classic indica-leaning plant. The split sits at 60% indica to 40% sativa, with THC and CBG both stated in the 10 to 13% range. The reputation of the Mamba Negra background carries over intact; the aim here was simply something less ordinary than another chase for the highest number.

Nose & flavour

The nose is earthy and grounded, a dark, soil-and-woodland note without much fruit or citrus to lighten it. It is an honest, old-fashioned aroma, the sort that suits a plant more interested in its cannabinoid work than in dressing for the occasion. Plain, in the best sense, and none the worse for it.

The high

The effect is mellow but not flat, a gentle brightness standing in for heavy couch gravity. It runs uplifting, euphoric and quietly creative, keeping the mood open rather than sinking you into the cushions. A composed, agreeable lift with none of the intoxicating weight the name and the dark nose might otherwise suggest.

Growing it

A feminized photoperiod plant with a tall habit, reaching roughly 200cm, so give her the headroom she will ask for. Flowering runs 56 to 70 days, a standard window, with indoor yields stated at a modest 305 g/m². She grows with the reliable structure of her Mamba Negra background, an indica-leaning frame that holds itself well. A grow for someone after something a little different from the shelf, rather than the biggest crop on it.
