Haze, Afghani and Thai Sativa combine into a fast, vigorous plant that will happily clear 200cm given the root space and patience — give her the headroom, in other words. Tall and bushy with many side branches, she wants a warm, sun-exposed summer to really deliver, up to a kilo per plant under glass.
Where it comes from
The White Label Seed Company assembled this one from Haze, Afghani and Thai Sativa, a lineage that spans the Dutch bench, the Hindu Kush and Southeast Asia in a single plant. Seventy percent Sativa, and a regular line rather than feminized, which tells you it is aimed at growers content to do their own selection. A classic three-way of the old school, the sort that built the modern catalogue.
Nose & flavour
The record does not itemise the nose, so I will describe her habits instead. The buds arrive smelly and trichome-covered, in the pungent Sativa register you would expect of a Haze-led plant. She is not one for subtlety on the aroma front; the family rarely is. Reticent on paper, emphatic in the room.
The high
Effects are unlisted, so temperament must serve. Seventy percent Sativa over an Afghani base, which usually means a high that leads with the head and keeps the body from disappearing entirely. At 20% THC there is real substance to it. Suited to daylight rather than the small hours, if the lineage is any guide.
Growing it
Fast and vigorous, as the Sativa side demands. Given vegetation time and root space she will happily clear two hundred centimetres, so give her the headroom; the record puts her range at seventy to a hundred and forty. Flowering runs fifty-five to eighty days, or the end of October outdoors. She wants warmth, sun and a long summer, ideally a sun-exposed greenhouse, in which yields climb toward a kilo per plant against the recorded three to four hundred and fifty grams the square metre.
