White Widow crossed with the 1997 Cup-winning Great White Shark, fruity and pungent in equal measure. Heavy-yielding and easy enough to grow without fuss, at 17 to 20% THC — two Amsterdam names combined without diluting either, and dense nuggets to show for it.
Where it comes from
Sweet Seeds drew this from two powerhouses of the White family, the Amsterdam classic White Widow and Great White Shark, winner of the 1997 High Times Cannabis Cup. Both are names that carried the resin-heavy White reputation through the nineties, and the cross keeps that character intact at sixty per cent indica. A pairing of two proven Cup-era genetics, neither diluting the other.
Nose & flavour
Fruity and pungent in equal measure, the White family's characteristic sharpness meeting a sweeter, fruitier edge. A loud, terpene-loaded nose that does not travel discreetly, so take the parentage as fair warning.
The high
At seventeen to twenty per cent THC, with one-point-one per cent CBD alongside, the effect follows the sixty-per-cent indica lean, settled and substantial without being overwhelming. The sort of even, dependable weight the White line has always been trusted for.
Growing it
A rewarding, easy grow that is not fussy about nutrients, nitrogen through veg, phosphorus and potassium through flower, and she does the rest. Flowering in 63 days for 450 to 600 g/m² of dense, sticky, terpene-loaded flower. No height figure is set down, but a forgiving temperament and a heavy yield make her an obliging plant for the trouble.
