How to grow Afghan Skunk
Seb's take
Pure Afghani crossed with a Sativa-leaning Skunk, and the Afghan side wins out on patience — finished in just 55-60 days despite that Sativa share. Lemon, earth and citrus on the nose; the effect stays relaxed, happy, calming throughout. Cold weather can turn the buds red or purple, which only flatters her.
Growing Afghan Skunk: what to expect
Feminized photoperiod stock. You control when she flowers, which is a responsibility as much as a convenience; the light schedule guide keeps you on the right side of it.
She takes a conventional 8 weeks to flower. Conventional is underrated; so is knowing what week you're in.
Expect roughly 100 cm of plant. Manageable, though she'll appreciate a little training if your headroom is tight.
Expect 400 – 500 g/m² — a working grower's yield, reliable rather than theatrical. The harvest guide will see it in safely.
The listed THC is 17% — the gentler end of the scale, stated plainly. Harvest timing moves the needle more than most growers realise.
Citrus leads the nose — sharp, clean, and inclined to announce itself.
Reported effects lean relaxed — the sitting-down sort.
