Seb Silverback

Yumbolt crossed with a G13 Haze male, pungent and sweet in equal measure with a spiced undertone. Relaxed, happy, sleepy on the exhale, occasionally rather more than that; quick to flower and generous either way, 400g/sq.m indoors or up to 300g per plant out. Nineteen to twenty-three per cent THC, and true to her name.

Where it comes from

Resin Seeds developed this from Yumbolt crossed with an ever-popular G13 Haze male, landing at 60% sativa to 40% indica. Yumbolt lends the body and the sweetness; the G13 Haze male the spice, the reach and the punch. The result is a sweet-tasting, relaxing plant with an added spiced edge and — crucially for the impatient grower — a quick flowering time. True to her name on the palate, and generous with it.

Nose & flavour

Sweet and pungent in equal measure, both traits pulled straight from the parents, with earthy depth and citrus lifting behind and a flowery note rounding it off. It is a full, layered nose — the sweetness up front, the pungency giving it carry, the citrus and floral edges keeping it lively. A properly aromatic plant that earns the name Yummy on scent alone, well before it reaches the palate.

The high

Relaxed, happy, sleepy on the exhale — and occasionally rather more than that, the record hints, so it has a lively streak beyond the ease. It settles as it goes, the body loosening while the mood stays bright, drifting toward drowsiness at the tail. A sweet, comfortable sort of experience with a touch of the unexpected in it. THC runs 19 to 23%, so the weight is real behind the sweetness.

Growing it

A feminized plant, quick to turn — indoors, total flowering runs nine to ten weeks, 63 to 70 days at a standard pace, which suits growers looking to save time. Indoor yields average around 400 g/m²; outdoors she is ready in September to October at up to 150 to 300g per plant. She performs well either indoors or out. No height figure is logged, so I will not offer one. A generous, fast, sweet-natured plant. THC 19 to 23%, with 6% CBD alongside.
