Seb's take

Seb Silverback

White Widow stabilised further with Afghani here, tipping 90% Indica and rewarding it with serious weight — up to 900g/m² indoors or a kilo per plant under glass. Ready in just 7-8 weeks and forgiving of enthusiasm, responding well to whatever training a grower throws at her. Potent at 20% THC.

Where it comes from

White Label Seed Company took the legendary White Widow and developed her further by crossing in Afghani, adding resistance, weight and potency in one move. The result tips ninety per cent Indica and does well both indoors and out. It is a sensible piece of breeding — a famous mother made hardier and more productive by an Afghani father — rather than a reinvention. Familiar stock, quietly upgraded.

Nose & flavour

The record leaves the nose unrecorded, so I will not put notes to it. What it establishes is her lineage — White Widow steadied with Afghani — a pairing that runs, as a rule, to the resinous and the earthy. Take the tasting on your own account; the record does not commit the aroma to paper.

The high

No effect is logged, so I will read her from the make-up rather than invent one. She is ninety per cent Indica and highly potent at 20% THC, with a CBD of one to two per cent alongside — a composition that points firmly to the settled, physical side of the shelf. A fair sketch from the numbers, and nothing beyond them.

Growing it

Forgiving of enthusiasm and well suited to beginners, she reacts very well to any type of training and is ready in just 7 to 8 weeks, or by mid-October outdoors. The record gives an indoor height of 90 to 120cm and a solid 350–450 g/m², while a skilled hand under glass can push to 900 g/m² or up to 1000 g per plant. THC sits at 20%. Quick, hardy and generous — an easy plant to like and an easier one to grow.
