Big Bud crossed again with New Big Bud, in a strain that, like its wrestling namesake, carries most of its weight low and dense. The buds arrive huge, compact, and heavy enough to need the bottom branches tied up before they snap under their own success. Fast to flower, at seven to eight weeks indoors.
Where it comes from
Big Bud crossed again with New Big Bud, and the ancestry runs deep - Afghan, Skunk #1 and White Widow on one side, Old Afghani, Skunk #1 and Northern Light on the other. Like its wrestling namesake, the plant carries most of its considerable weight low and dense. Sumo Seeds bred it squarely for tonnage, and the buds arrive heavy enough to prove the point. A short plant with a serious centre of gravity.
Nose & flavour
No specific tasting note is recorded, so none will be invented here. The lineage - Skunk #1 and Afghan on both sides - points toward the pungent, earthy end of the spectrum rather than the fruity. Take the parentage as the guide, and expect a plant that makes its presence known once the jar is opened.
