Seb's take

Seb Silverback

Afghani, Northern Lights, and Skunk #1 folded into an autoflower running 80% Indica, 15% Sativa, and 5% Ruderalis — most of the chill, a fast finish, and just enough mental lift to notice. Sweet, musky, and fruity on the nose, with a relaxed, medicinal high that turns faintly psychedelic at the edges.

Where it comes from

A four-way autoflower: Afghani, Northern Lights, and Skunk #1 married to an unnamed Ruderalis. The record does the sums — eighty per cent indica, fifteen sativa, five ruderalis — which is a tidy recipe for most of the body calm, a fast and forgiving grow from the ruderalis, and just enough sativa to keep the head engaged. Herbies assembled it for convenience without giving up potency, and at twenty-four per cent, they mostly managed it.

Nose & flavour

Sweet and fruity up front, with a distinct musk sitting beneath that gives the nose its depth — earthier and headier than a straightforward fruit profile. The Afghani and Northern Lights heritage tells here, a low, resinous undertone under the sweetness. A fuller nose than the auto label might lead you to expect.

The high

At twenty-four per cent this is potent for an auto, and it shows. Chiefly relaxed and settling, with that sativa fraction lending a lift that turns faintly psychedelic at the edges when you push it. Approach as you would a staircase in the dark: it is an easygoing plant with a sharper top end than its make-up first suggests.

Growing it

Fast and undemanding, which is the ruderalis doing its work — seed to harvest in roughly fifty to fifty-five days. She stays compact at fifty to ninety centimetres, well suited to a modest tent, and returns a generous 550 to 600 g/m² for the size and speed. The record's own word is 'easy', and there is little here to argue with: a quick, forgiving grow with a proper harvest at the end.
