Sirius Black — World Wide Cultivars

Seb's take

Seb Silverback

Bred from undisclosed 'secret strains,' Sirius Black lives up to the name — one of the darkest-looking varieties World Wide Cultivars offers. Citrus and fruit on the nose give way to a Kush-wood finish, bright on top and deeper underneath. The high is creative and energetic at first, settling into a calmer, more indica undertone as it develops.

Growing Sirius Black: what to expect

Feminized photoperiod seed: every plant a female, and flowering starts when you change the lights — which puts the calendar in your hands. The photoperiod lesson covers using that control well.

Flowering runs the standard 10 weeks — no surprises, which in this business is a compliment. The flowering stage guide covers what each of those weeks should look like.

A middling 150 cm or so at maturity — tall enough to yield, short enough to manage. Standard tent territory; the light planner sorts the hanging height.

A solid, dependable yield — 397 – 488 g/m² under decent conditions. Nothing that requires bragging; everything that justifies the effort. The yield lesson covers getting to "decent conditions".

THC of 25% by the breeder's numbers — the top shelf of the scale. Approach as you would a staircase in the dark.

The aroma is citrus-forward: zest first, everything else in its wake.

Reported effects favour the creative: ideas arrive; whether they're good ones is between you and the morning.
