Black Runtz is World Wide Cultivars' cross of Black Diamond Sherbet and Runtz, landing at a near-even 55 per cent indica to 45 sativa. At 30 to 32 per cent THC it sits firmly in heavyweight company, a sipping strain, not a session one. The Runtz side brings the sweetness the name promises; the Black Diamond Sherbet lends the darker, denser structure beneath it.
Nose & flavour
The nose opens on earthy fruit before pine takes over, with a sour, sharp spice arriving at the finish to keep things interesting. A fuller, more brooding profile than the sweetshop lineage might lead you to expect, and none the worse for it.
The high
