Named for the pharaoh, and about as forthcoming with his lineage — Amnesia Haze on one side, a private-reserve secret on the other. Lemon and earth on the nose, with a high that runs energetic, euphoric and creative. Mostly sativa and inclined to stretch, so keep her under SCRoG or give her the headroom.
Where it comes from
Named for the pharaoh, and about as forthcoming with his ancestry as a tomb inscription — Amnesia Haze on one side, plainly, and on the other a strain Pyramid Seeds will only describe as a secret from their private reserve. So half the lineage is a household name and half is sealed, which is rather in keeping with the regal theme. What the Amnesia side guarantees is pedigree: one of the most decorated haze lines going, lending its resin and its soaring character.
Nose & flavour
Lemon leads the nose, sharp and clean, with a general fruitiness behind it and an earthy note grounding the base — the classic Amnesia signature, citrus over soil. It is a bright, appetising profile rather than a heavy one, and the long resin-packed colas the record describes carry it well. Zesty and lively, as the sativa dominance would lead you to expect.
The high
The effect is all sativa energy: euphoric, energetic and creative, a clear-headed lift that pushes outward rather than down. At 18% THC with 1% CBD it is stimulating without being overwhelming — daytime company, the sort that fills the hands and the head with things to do. Not an evening's sedative by any measure.
Growing it
The sativa in her runs to 80%, and she shows it: reaching anywhere from 90 to 180cm, and inclined to stretch unless you keep her under SCRoG or start her flowering sooner with a short vegetative period. Flowering is a patient 80 days — the record narrows it to 75 to 85 indoors — after which she rewards you with over 500 g/m² of resin-laden colas. Give her the headroom, or the netting, and plan for a longer haul than an indica would ask. Worth the wait, by the pedigree alone.
