Seb's take

Seb Silverback

Haze crossed with Jack Herer under a name that asks to be lived up to, and mostly manages it. Spice, lime and citrus on the nose; the high is happy, euphoric and energetic — peaceful enough that one imagines the man himself would have approved.

Where it comes from

Haze crossed with Jack Herer sits behind a name that rather asks to be lived up to — and Pyramid Seeds' plant mostly manages it. Two celebrated sativa-leaning parents lend the cerebral character and the lively disposition; the Ruderalis heritage keeps it automatic. A balanced hybrid drawn from thoroughly proven stock, cheerful by nature. One imagines the man himself would have approved of the sentiment, at least.

Nose & flavour

Spice and lime lead, over a broader citrus — a zesty, faintly warm nose with a clean brightness to it. The lime is the headline, sharp and fresh; the spice gives it a little heat; the citrus fills the space between. A lively, appetising profile, uncomplicated and appealing. A pleasant thing to grind, and an inviting one.

The high

Happy, euphoric and energetic — a peaceful, upbeat euphoria true to both its parents and its namesake. A bright, sociable lift better suited to the day than its close, cheerful without tipping into the frantic. The kind of experience that lifts the mood and keeps it there; agreeable company, and gentle enough to stay welcome.

Growing it

Flowering finishes in a tidy seventy days. Height varies considerably, fifty to a hundred and forty centimetres, so a little training may be wanted to keep the taller expressions in check. Yields reach a healthy 500g per square metre. A productive, flexible grow that adapts to the space it is given, drawing on genetics with nothing to prove. A rewarding plant for the grower who reads its range early and plans accordingly.
