The regular-seed sibling of Nirvana's Pure Power Plant, carrying the same Original Power Plant and White Widow lineage but leaving the sexing to nature. She is said to take on the aroma of a nearby pine forest if you let her, and finishes fast for an Indica-leaning plant. The effect balances mind and body without favouring either.
Where it comes from
Original Power Plant and White Widow, two names that carried the Dutch scene through the nineties, stand behind Nirvana's regular-seed version. This is the sibling that leaves sexing to nature rather than the breeder, males and all. White Widow lends the resin and the punch, Power Plant the vigour and the yield. Nirvana even suggest she will take on the aroma of a nearby pine forest if grown in its company, a romantic notion, and one worth indulging.
Nose & flavour
Citrus and skunk lead, earthy and pungent beneath, with a flowery top note; loud, in a word, and unafraid of it. Grown outdoors near pine, they say, she borrows the forest's scent, which is either folklore or terroir depending on your temperament. Either way, an assertive nose.
The high
The effect balances mind and body without favouring either: happy and uplifted, energetic and creative up top, a relaxed steadiness underneath. A well-rounded high rather than a one-note one, daytime, but not restlessly so, and easy to sit with for as long as you like.
Growing it
Eight to ten weeks from seed to harvest, 56 to 70 days in flower, which earns her a fast-growing billing for an Indica-leaning plant. Compact in both sexes. Yields are quoted at 400 to 500 g/m², with the breeder claiming up to 700 g/m² indoors and 150 to 550g per plant outdoors. THC is listed simply as high and CBD as medium, without figures, so I'll cite neither. A regular line, so expect to sex her yourself.
