Sour Diesel, Afghan Indica and Hawaiian Indica sit behind this one, combined by Vision Seeds under a name borrowed from the city of its origins. The Sour Diesel brings the fuel and the sweetness; the two indicas ground it and lend the body. An even 50/50 split, well-travelled in its genetics, with New York stamped on the label. A cosmopolitan cross with a city's confidence.
Nose & flavour
A fantastically sweet fruit taste, by the record's account, rising from dense, crystal-coated buds. The Sour Diesel heritage lends a fuel edge underneath, but the sweetness leads — a rounder, fruitier nose than the diesel name might lead you to expect. The heavy trichome coat carries it well past the grinder.
