Built on True OG stock, Lemon Garlic OG needs little in the way of nutrients yet stacks long, resinous colas over a brisk 63-68 day flower. The aroma lives up to the name — garlic, citrus and pine over a gassy undertone — and the high is cerebral, long-lasting, and reliably appetite-inducing.
Where it comes from
Humboldt Seeds built Lemon Garlic OG on True OG stock, an 80 percent indica line from one of the more respected underground American programmes. The True OG heritage supplies the resin, the pungency and the OG backbone, and the breeding brought forward a plant with rapid vegetative growth and short transitions into flowering. A single-parent OG selection, in effect, refined for a particularly loud and savoury expression of the family character.
Nose & flavour
The name is no exaggeration. Garlic sits alongside citrus and pine over a gassy undertone, an aroma dominant to anything else in the space and pungent enough to leave the mouth watering. It is a savoury, forceful profile rather than a sweet one, the garlic and gas grounding the brighter lemon and pine. Emphatically not a discreet nose, and all the more distinctive for it. She rules whatever room she is in.
The high
Very cerebral and long-lasting, with a reliable appetite following on. The effect keeps the head engaged for a good stretch rather than settling straight into the body, and the hunger arrives as the postscript. It is a sustained, mind-forward experience, the sort that outlasts most, so budget the time for it. Keep a snack to hand, and expect the effect to see the evening out.

A towering plant, running 300 to 485cm at the extreme, so this is one for the open air or a room with real height. Rapid vegetative growth and large, well-spaced leaves let light reach the secondary sites, and the long stacking between internodes builds large, elongated, highly resinous colas. Flowering runs about 63 to 68 days by the record, and she returns 400 to 600 g/m². THC is quoted at 17 to 22 percent, with CBD at 0.1 percent. She needs little nutrition to stay healthy, which is a mercy at that size.
