Three generations in the making: an elite 215 Super Bud cut crossed with Headband for stronger resistance and petrol-citrus overtones, then backcrossed twice and finished with a True OG male for flavour. The result carries sweet citrus undertones against a gassy, sour backdrop — a strain built patiently rather than rushed.
Where it comes from
Humboldt Seeds built this patiently, three generations in the making. It began in 2011 with an elite cut of 215 Super Bud, intriguing for its structure, colour and fragrant aromas, crossed first with an elite Headband male to add resistance and stronger petrol-and-citrus overtones. A selection followed, then two more backcrosses to establish the line at F3, before a final cross with an elite True OG male to drive the flavour all the way through. A 30/70 sativa-leaning plant, bred rather than assembled.
Nose & flavour
Sweet citrus undertones enter the palate as gassy, sour overtones blend across the top, the Headband and True OG heritage supplying the petrol and the fuel. It is a layered, considered profile, the sweetness beneath and the gas above, exactly the flavour the final cross was made to secure. A rich, complex nose, sour and sweet and fuel-tinged at once, and one that reflects the patience of the breeding behind it.
The high
The record leaves the effects unlisted, so I will not fabricate them. The 70 percent sativa makeup, together with the Headband and OG parentage, points toward a bright, heady character with some weight underneath, but I would rather note the direction than invent the particulars.
