How to grow LA Widow
Taste
Seb's take
A Bubba Kush and White Widow cross that asks little of the grower — unfussy about nutrients or pH, bushy, medium in height, and forgiving of enthusiasm. The reward is an ultra-potent, narcotic indica high, delivered via rock-hard, resin-heavy buds best approached as you would a staircase in the dark.
Where it comes from
Kera Seeds crossed Bubba Kush with White Widow for this one, a 75/25 indica-leaning feminized plant. Both parents are heavyweights of the resin trade, and the cross keeps their virtues: the Bubba Kush weight and the White Widow frost, married into a plant that asks very little of the grower. The record's headline trait is how forgiving she is, which is a fair thing to lead with, given the potency waiting at the other end.
Nose & flavour
The record supplies no flavour notes, so I will not invent them. The Bubba Kush and White Widow parentage points toward an earthy, resin-forward character with the Widow frost on top, but I would rather you confirm it in the jar than take a fabricated list from me. Expect a heavy, sticky bud and a nose to match, and let the plant fill in the particulars.
The high
The record leaves the effects unlisted but describes an ultra-potent indica of narcotic character, which tells you the direction plainly enough. This is a heavy, sit-down sort of effect, one where you will not be needed elsewhere this evening. I will not embroider beyond what the record states; the strength is the point, and it is best approached as you would a staircase in the dark, one careful step at a time.
Growing it
Genuinely easy, which is the strain's calling card. She is unfussy about nutrients and pH, forgiving of enthusiasm, and altogether beginner-friendly. She grows bushy to a medium height of 60 to 90cm, and given consistent water and ample light she throws rock-hard buds. She prefers abundant light, a 600-watt HID or an equivalent LED, and manicures easily at harvest, though the resin load will gum your scissors in the process. Flowering runs 56 to 63 days, THC sits at 20 percent, and the record quotes no yield, so I will leave that figure alone.
