Named, one assumes coincidentally, for the world's second-highest peak, though this White Widow x Hindukush cross keeps admirably low to the ground during flowering. Soft, sweet citrus and pine on the nose, with a mellow, relaxed and happy stone that never quite summits. Honest about what it is.
Where it comes from
Homegrown Fantaseeds cross White Widow with Hindu Kush for this one, the Widow lending resin and vigour, the Hindu Kush a squat, indica backbone. Named, one assumes, for the world's second-highest peak, though the plant itself keeps admirably close to the ground. Twenty-six to twenty-nine per cent THC belies the modest stature. A compact, potent pairing of two well-worn classics.
Nose & flavour
Soft and sweet, with citrus brightening a base of pine, wood and earth, and a spicy, herbal thread running through. A gentle, rounded nose rather than a sharp one, pleasant and unhurried. The sweetness is the first thing you notice, and the last to leave.
The high
A mellow, relaxed stone, happy and euphoric, with an appetite arriving in short order, the sort of easy sit-down that never quite summits. At twenty-six to twenty-nine per cent THC there is real strength beneath the softness, so mind the measure. Comfortable company for a quiet evening.
Growing it
She flowers in fifty-six days and, usefully, does not stretch much through it, which has made her a favourite among growers wary of a tall plant.
