A five-way cross running back through Colombian Gold, Highland Thai, Mexican, Afghani #1 and Northern Lights Special, and about as easy to grow as cannabis gets. Citrus, floral pine and earth on the nose; the effect combines a proper body stone with a sharp head buzz, among the more potent she'll meet. Fast to flower, with a pungent, noble-wood aroma no carbon filter fully tames.
Where it comes from
A five-way cross running back through Colombian Gold, Highland Thai, Mexican and Afghani #1, then over Northern Lights Special, from Spliff Seeds. It is a pedigree that gathers up much of the classic landrace world — the sativa reach of the Colombian and Thai, the grounding of the Afghani, the resin of the Northern Lights. The lean settles at 70 percent indica. A cross with a great deal of history folded into it.
Nose & flavour
Citrus and floral pine over an earthy base — a bright, fresh nose lifted by a pungent, noble-wood aroma that no carbon filter fully tames. It does not travel discreetly; the scent is spicy and forceful, sweet on the tongue where the nose runs sharp. Characterful, and rather loud with it.
The high
A proper body settle paired with a sharp head buzz — among the more potent effects she will meet, euphoric and giggly, happy and sociable throughout. It grounds the body while keeping the mood bright and the company welcome. Settling and lively at once, which is a fair trick.
Growing it
About as easy to grow as cannabis gets — virtually idiot-proof, tolerant of both higher and lower temperatures and undemanding of nutrients, needing only some space between plants to spread. A compact plant at 50 to 90cm after three to four weeks of vegetation. Flowering is ferociously quick at 56 days, producing rock-hard, trichome-covered buds; prune the lower growth for one major cola if the space allows. Yields land at 500 g/m². THC is listed only as high, so no figure is claimed. A forgiving grow that punishes almost nothing.
