How to grow Jack Herer Auto
Taste
Seb's take
Green House's autoflowering take folds Haze, Northern Lights and Skunk into a compact frame that fits nearly anywhere. Spicy herbal wood and earth on the nose; the high stays surprisingly relaxed and giggly for something carrying the family name, easing tension rather than chasing it. Compact indoors, adaptable outdoors, and undemanding either way.
Where it comes from
Green House's autoflowering Jack Herer folds Haze, Northern Lights and Skunk into a ruderalis frame, the same genetic family as the photoperiod, compressed to fit almost anywhere. The ruderalis is what makes her tick over on her own clock; the rest is pure Jack Herer heritage. A mini-sized version of a famous plant, and a faithful one at that.
Nose & flavour
Spicy and herbal on the nose, woody and earthy underneath, the original's character kept largely intact through the auto conversion. Nothing lost in translation here; it reads unmistakably of the family. Grounded and resinous, with the herbal note doing the identifying.
The high
Surprisingly relaxed and giggly for something carrying the family name, happy throughout and gentler than the photoperiod's stimulating lift. The indica side settles the body while the mood stays light. An easy-going high, undemanding of the occasion, that eases you along rather than pushing.
Growing it
Compact and obliging, she stays between 40 and 80cm and finishes in around sixty-three days, small enough to tuck almost anywhere, indoors or out. For all that modest stature, she turns out a heavy 700 g/m², which is a remarkable return from a plant this size. Autoflowering, so she needs no light-schedule management; give her decent conditions and she does the rest. Forgiving of enthusiasm, and adaptable to boot.
