Where it comes from
Heavyweight Seeds bred this from Fruit Punch and old-school New York Diesel, landing at seventy per cent sativa. The Diesel side is the family name here, and it carries the reputation for pungency the world over; the Fruit Punch tempers it. A cross that leans on its sativa parentage for the effect while keeping enough hybrid vigour to grow fast and fill out its branches. Known chiefly for potency, and for a nose that does not travel discreetly.
Nose & flavour
The Diesel heritage leads, as the name would have you expect, pungent fuel that announces itself well before you do. There is little subtlety on offer and none intended; this is the loud, unmistakable diesel note that made New York Diesel a fixture, riding on the sweeter suggestion of the Fruit Punch parent underneath.
The high
Sativa-dominant at seventy per cent and rated for high potency at eighteen per cent THC, with one-point-three per cent CBD alongside. The effect leans on those sativa genes throughout, the sort of clear, lively lift you would look for before the body catches up. Honest about what it is.
Growing it
Indoors she finishes in around ten weeks, or seventy days, with an early October harvest outdoors. Plants hold between 90 and 150cm indoors and stretch to 150-200cm outside, so give her a little headroom out under the sky. Fast and vigorous, filling multiple branches with dense, medium-sized buds from top to bottom, and yielding roughly 500 g/m² indoors or per plant outdoors, testing at eighteen per cent THC and one-point-three per cent CBD. For quality outdoors she wants long warm summers and moderate conditions come the autumn.
