Skunk #1, Afghani and Critical Mass combined by Herbies into a new take on an old name, 65% Indica and considerably stronger for the addition. Spice, lemon and earth on the nose; the high is euphoric and happy, relaxed enough to sit with. Exceptional yields, and THC north of 24% — approach as you would a staircase in the dark.
Where it comes from
Three heavyweights in the ancestry: Skunk #1 for the backbone, Afghani for the resin and the indica weight, and Critical Mass for the name and the yield it is known for. Herbies Seeds bred the line in Spain, calling it a new touch on the famous Critical genetics. The result tilts to indica, around 65 percent, and gains a good deal of strength for the addition. A classic name given more muscle, without losing the shape that made it a fixture.
Nose & flavour
Spice arrives first, then a lemon brightness cutting across it, all settled over a plain earthy base. It is the sort of nose that reads savoury before it reads sweet: pepper and citrus zest rather than confectionery. Direct, and not especially shy about announcing itself.
The high
Relaxed at the core, happy and euphoric around it, an indica-led calm rather than a racing head. With THC listed between 24 and 27 percent, approach as you would a staircase in the dark: one careful step at a time. Comfortable company for an unhurried evening, and generous enough that a little goes a fair distance.
Growing it
Feminized and quick, finishing in fifty to fifty-five days, roughly fifty-three. She holds a manageable middle height of 100 to 120cm, which keeps her sensible for a tent, and returns 500 to 600 g/m² indoors. A fast schedule and a medium frame make her forgiving to plan around; the main task is supporting colas that grow heavier than the plant's stature suggests. Feed her steadily and she asks little else.
