How to grow Critical Hog
Seb's take
Critical Bilbo — a decorated Spanish competitor — crossed with Hog's Breath, a High Times Cup winner in its own right; the apple hasn't fallen far. Earthy and woody on the nose, with pungent, citrus-flowery notes; the high is relaxed and happy, euphoric before it turns properly sleepy. An eight-week flowerer, and forgiving of enthusiasm.
Growing Critical Hog: what to expect
Feminized photoperiod seed: every plant a female, and flowering starts when you change the lights — which puts the calendar in your hands. The photoperiod lesson covers using that control well.
Flowering runs the standard 8 weeks — no surprises, which in this business is a compliment. The flowering stage guide covers what each of those weeks should look like.
A middling 140 cm or so at maturity — tall enough to yield, short enough to manage. Standard tent territory; the light planner sorts the hanging height.
A solid, dependable yield — 350 – 550 g/m² under decent conditions. Nothing that requires bragging; everything that justifies the effort. The yield lesson covers getting to "decent conditions".
THC tests under 18% by the breeder's numbers — measured rather than fierce. Some growers are after exactly that; the rest may keep scrolling with our blessing.
Earthy on the nose — the old-school profile, done properly.
Effects report as chiefly uplifting — she raises the tone of a room rather than lowering the lights.
