Granddaddy Purple and Orange Bud, crossed first and found wanting in yield, so Kritikal Bilbo was brought in to fix the maths. Citrus and orange on the nose with a skunky, hashish undertone; the high is strong, euphoric and long lasting — good company for a gathering or a quiet moment alone. The persistence paid off.
Where it comes from
Dutch Passion first crossed Granddaddy Purple with Orange Bud, and found the yield wanting — so Kritikal Bilbo was brought into the mix to fix the maths, enhancing capacity and lending the resistance and ease the early cross lacked. The persistence paid off: a high-yielding, easy-to-grow plant with potent, euphoric effects and the orange character its name promises. A good lesson in not settling for the first attempt.
Nose & flavour
Citrus and orange hit the senses right away, bright and juicy, with a skunky, hashish undertone giving the sweetness real grip. A mouthful of orange over a classic, resinous base — the fruit up top, the funk beneath. A vivid, well-balanced nose that reads exactly as the name suggests.
The high
Strong, euphoric and long-lasting — happy company for a gathering, and just as good for a private, quiet moment of one's own.
