Seb's take

Seb Silverback

An autoflowering redraft of Cream Caramel, indica to the core and resistant to nearly everything except temptation. Sweet, creamy, coffee-edged on the nose; the high is the sleepy, relaxed, medicinal sort, well suited to an evening with nowhere to be. Compact, resinous, and finished in under nine weeks.

Where it comes from

Sweet Seeds took their popular Cream Caramel and crossed it with a second-generation autoflower, redrafting an indica-dominant favourite into something faster and self-timing. She keeps the family traits that matter: short final height, heavy resin, and a sturdy resistance to mould and pests that spares the anxious grower a good deal of worry. Indica to the core, and none the worse for the reworking.

Nose & flavour

Sweet and creamy up front, with a note of coffee sitting underneath that keeps the palate from turning cloying. A dessert-trolley aroma, essentially, softened by that bitter edge — the sort of nose that belongs to an evening rather than a morning.

The high

The sleepy, relaxed sort, well suited to an evening with nowhere in particular to be. She settles the body first and lets the mind follow at its own pace, drifting rather than dropping. You will not be needed elsewhere once she has spoken.

Growing it

She finishes in 56 days of flowering, under nine weeks from germination all told, staying compact at 40 to 90cm. Yields run 350 to 500 g/m² of dense, sticky flower, and her resistance to mould and pests makes her forgiving of a first-timer's enthusiasm. Runs happily indoors or out. A tidy, resinous plant that asks little and finishes on a soldier's schedule.
