Seb's take

Seb Silverback

Thai Sativa and Chocolope Haze meet here in a fast-flowering, branchy plant built, unsurprisingly, for the chocolate lovers — sweet cocoa and caramel on the nose throughout. At 19% THC the high stays active, energetic and clear-headed, with barely a trace of psychoactive fog to slow you down. Easy to grow and honest about what she's for.

Where it comes from

Vision Seeds crossed Thai Sativa with Chocolope Haze to make Choco Bud, and the aim was plain: to give chocolate lovers a way to share that flavour through smoke. The result is a heavily sativa-leaning plant, 90% sativa to 10% indica, fast-flowering and easy to grow, with a branchy structure and an intense cocoa character. A single-minded piece of breeding, built around a flavour and delivering it without fuss.

Nose & flavour

The nose is mainly sweet chocolate, layered with a caramel note that deepens the whole. It is a rich, confectionery profile, cocoa and caramel woven together, exactly the character Vision Seeds set out to capture. A warm, dessert-like aroma that leaves no doubt about what she is for, and delivers on the promise.

The high

The effect is a long-lasting cerebral high that leaves you active, energetic and uplifted, with very little psychoactive fog to slow you down. It keeps the head clear and the mood bright, a mobile, engaged experience rather than a heavy one. An honest, clear-headed high, well suited to a day that still has things in it, and easy company throughout.

Growing it

Feminized, and easy to grow, with a compact frame around 80cm and a branchy structure that fills out well. Flowering completes in a tidy 63 days, quick for a plant with this much sativa in her, and indoor yields sit at a solid 450 g/m² with THC stated at 19%. She is a forgiving, undemanding plant, honest about what she is for, and rewards a light hand. A straightforward grow for anyone after that chocolate character without a difficult plant to manage.
