Pine, diesel, menthol, skunk and mint — a nose with more going on than the name lets on, built from Acapulco, Hawaiian '93, Mango 2001 and KC636 stock. The high is sleepy, hungry, happy and relaxed, dry mouth included, living up to the breeder's own promise: no more thinking.
Where it comes from
The parents field sits empty, but K.C. Brains spell the lineage out in their own description: Acapulco from Mexico, a Hawaiian '93, Mango 2001 and their house KC636, blended into what they cheerfully call a knockout. It is a well-travelled, largely tropical family tree, Mexican and Hawaiian stock at its heart, and the breeder's own verdict on the result was a blunt 'no more thinking'. I will let that stand as both promise and warning.
Nose & flavour
A busier nose than the name lets on: pine and diesel up front, with menthol and mint lending a cool, sharp edge and a skunk funk underneath. It is an unusual set, the menthol in particular is not something you meet often, and it keeps the aroma lively rather than one-note. Sharp, cool and pungent, and it does not travel discreetly.
The high
The effect runs relaxed, happy and, in time, sleepy, with a healthy appetite arriving alongside, which rather fits the breeder's 'no more thinking' billing. At 20 to 23 percent THC it settles firmly toward the heavier end of the evening. Keep water to hand for the dry mouth, and clear your plans first: this is company for staying put.
Growing it
The record keeps its own counsel on the growing figures, no flowering time, height or yield is set down, so I will not manufacture numbers the breeders declined to give. What the lineage tells us is temperament: a tropical, Sativa-heavy family of this sort tends toward the tall and the leisurely, so plan for a plant that wants room and does not rush.
