Amur Ruderalis bred in for stability, crossed with Jack Herer and Power Plant, which she resembles in look while smelling rather more of lemon and berry. Buds turn yellow-orange under a thick resin coat by the end of flowering, and the taste runs lemon-sandalwood with a wild berry jam finish. A powerful Sativa high, suited to work as much as conversation.
Where it comes from
Kalashnikov Seeds bred cultivated Amur Ruderalis into Jack Herer and Power Plant to make this fully autoflowering line. The Amur stock, named for the river that marks the Russian and Chinese frontier, is what lends her stability and viability, resistance to fungal disease and to toppling. She resembles Power Plant in the flesh but smells rather more of Jack Herer, if with a lemon-berry inflection of her own. A well-anchored auto with good bones.
Nose & flavour
An unusual smell that recalls Jack Herer but leans further into lemon and berry. On the palate it turns to lemon and sandalwood, with a wild-berry-jam finish that is a good deal more interesting than the average auto offers. By the close of flowering the buds have turned yellow-orange under a thick coat of resin, which suits the character in the jar.
The high
A powerful Sativa effect, suited to work as much as to conversation. There is nothing sedating about her; this is a lift that keeps you engaged and inclined to get on with things. At 19% THC it is substantial without being overwhelming, which makes her fair company for the productive part of the day.
Growing it
Sixty-eight to seventy-five days from the record, an autoflower on the slower side of the type, standing a medium hundred to a hundred and fifty centimetres. Yields run a solid four hundred and fifty to six hundred grams the square metre. The Amur Ruderalis is the making of her here: resistant to fungal trouble and disinclined to topple, which is no small thing on a bushy plant. Buds stay large, dense and bright at 19% THC. A robust, well-behaved grow.
